Capacity increase at Schönebeck plant

Capacitiy increase.

Expectation  turned into excitement when the rather weighty package was delivered earlier this week.

By investing in the Norma 45 from Correanayak, the capacity in the milling length (x-axis) was extended from 2,000 mm to 4,500 mm. The travel distances of the y-axis and z-axis are 1,250 mm and 1,500 mm respectively. In addition, the bed milling machine is equipped with a universal milling head. The machine will be used for the machining of long and heavy machine components for in-house projects as well as production to order.

The 25-ton unit comes from Burgos in Spain and in the image it can be seen being shown to its new ‘workstation”.
