The professional association for construction machinery and building material machinery is stakeholder, spokesman, service provider, and consultant and transmits information on all issues concerning the manufacturers of machinery and plants for 280 member companies from the construction, building material, and glass, ceramic and natural stone industry.
In the specialist department 6 manufacturers of machinery and plants for the production of concrete products meet at least twice a year, to exchange thoughts and to discuss on common issues.
On the occasion of the General Assembly 2011 in Bremen, the specialist department 6 voted Hermann Weckenmann in unanimously as Chairman for three years.
He succeeds Mr. Walter Hess, who has been leading this department for many years.
