X-UNI in use down under

FREMANTLE Constructions with its head office in Western Australia and 250 employees is a leader in the construction industry with a strong reputation for quality and reliability.

The new formwork system at FREMANTLE Constructions should meet several different requirements. The initial task was the shuttering of precast concrete parts with dimensions of 5 m x 2.5 m and a wall thickness of 180 mm to 450 mm. Fremantle also wanted a flexible system that could be used for other, future projects and so decided on the X-UNI magnetic fastening system for wooden shuttering from Weckenmann.

The WECKENMANN X-UNI System is now used for the shuttering of precast concrete elements, which are used for the construction of fertiliser Silos.

In addition, the X-UNI magnetic positioning and fixing system will also be used for other projects, as this system can be adapted to multiple formwork variants.
